Celebrate 170 Years of Spanish Candles with a Digital Boost

Spaas Kaarsen celebrated its 170th anniversary with a large-scale campaign to increase brand awareness in Flanders and Wallonia. Through a competition on the landing page, participants were able to win a party package, while Spaas gave itself countless conversions and valuable data.

Our solution
RMDY took care of the digital marketing component of the campaign and set up targeted ads via Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google (Search & Display), YouTube and Pinterest. Through a data-driven approach, the budget was optimally distributed and addressed to the right target groups. Insights from the campaigns showed that Facebook performed best in Flanders, while Instagram and Pinterest scored surprisingly well in Wallonia.
The impact
The campaign generated more than 3,000 contest entries, most of them via Facebook and Google Search. The combination of push channels such as YouTube and Google Display with conversion-focused platforms ensured maximum visibility and interaction. Thanks to the collected data, Spaas's sales team can closely monitor their target group and future campaigns can be used even more specifically.
